Lovely Subardys!

With great pleasure, we look forward to the season 2025! The Subardo Festival goes in the 5th round! From Thursday to Sunday, on August 07-10th 2025, it will take place at Luppa (Wermsdorf) in Saxony. We are happy to come together again in this wonderful place and with the best music for hours. Soon, we’ll start our presale for the limited Early Bird tickets. So, keep an eye on it!

There also are some novelties we like to unveil. Compared to last year, it will be possible to use the sandy beach of “Naturbad Luppa” for free. The direct passage to the lake from the festival area will also certainly be available again. Additionally, for the first time, we will open a 3rd floor even with excellent bass music. At this space, subgenres of bass music will be played which do not go on the mainstage at the same time. If you like to come with children, there is now an alternative to camp in an extra provided space. Hopefully like you, we are excited about the next adventure at Luppa and looking forward to bass, beach, sun and you in August!

Arriving by car

Address of festival area is:

The festival aera is situated close to the road B6 connecting Dresden and Leipzig. In Luppa you turn off to Torgauer Straße (S24) in direction to Dahlen.

Coming from the motorway A14 Dresden-Leipzig, best exit is Mutzschen following the adjoint road S24 to Wermsdorf and Luppa.

Arriving by public transport

From Dresden and Leipzig there are regional trains RE50 to Dahlen (ICE and IC do not stop there!) almost every hour. Details and exact arrival- and departure-times you find at bahn.de.

The distance from train station Dahlen to the festival aera is approximately 2km.

The regional trains (RE50) to Dahlen are almost crowded. If someone prefers coming by bicycle from Leipzig, it's recommended to use the suburbanline S3 to final destination Wurzen and and go by bicycle the remaining distance of 20km.

Bicycle

Of course, in some time and corresponding fitness you can take the bicycle from Dresden (approx. 80km) or Leipzig (approx. 50km). You can choose several routes from expressroads to quitely beautiful lanes arriving at the Saxony fruit cultivation area.

Coming from Leipzig, you can take your bicycle with the suburbantrain S3 to Wurzen. From there, you can ride the remaining 20 km to Luppa.

Departure

Subardo festival is terminated on Sunday, 10th of August 2025. The main stage will close at 16:00. Since we will only have a limited schedule for deconstruction we beg you to leave the festival area until 20:00. Many thanks!

Information

Here you find a short info about Subardo Festival to show some useful hints and a couple of rules we find necessary that everyone feels comfortable during the festival.

• Festival open doors on 7th of August 2025 at 14:00. Music starts at 16:00 on the main stage and ends on 11th of August at 16:00. Please leave the area until 20:00 that day.
• We do not tolerate any kind of discrimination! If you witness any act of discrimination, exclusion, sexual harassment or any kind of violations do not look away! Get in contact with our awareness- or security-team.
• Please respect barriers and follow security instructions. The security stuff grants for a safe procedure of the festival and has no personal intention to annoy anyone.
• Please do not bring (your) pets (dogs, cats, etc.) to the festival area.
• Please don't shoot pictures or make video footage of any other person without their agreement. Further respect the personal rights of images taken. Photographer need an accreditation by the promoter and will be visible as press.
• Access to the lake for surfing and stand-up-paddling is kindly supplied by the local surf club. It’s possible to bring your own boards as well as to borrow stand-up-paddling boards.
• Due to the free access to the lake, parents please pay attention to your children! The organizer assumes no liability for any accidents. - Please pay attention to any person who seems unable to swim. Don’t hesitate to inform the awareness, security or festival organization team!
• The festival is situated in splendid nature and environment. We all wish to preserve that. Please keep the area clean!
• In August there is most probably a high risk of forest fire! To cook and grill with open flame is not allowed! Please look also after your cigarette butts.
• Be careful by severe weather like storm and thunder. Please avoid to stay close by high structures, trees and any water. If you have the option of a car, that would be the first choice to withstand the weather.
• Please do not climb on any decoration or structures. Do not destroy or steal any decoration! We invest a lot of time and efforts to create it and without that the festival would only be half as nice. Persons getting caught will be held liable for damage incurred.
• Selling of illegal drugs or narcotics will not be tolerated. Persons getting caught receive a ban of entrance.
• Area for camping and caravan is located on designated lawns and places. Please check our festival map for it! The organizers may not be held liable for damages and losses that might occur by camping. Camping takes place on own risk.
• Cars are not allowed on the festival ground. There will be a parking possibility close to festival terrain right before the entrance.
• It is allowed to bring your own water and non-alcoholic beverages on festival area. But of course we would look forward if you buy some drinks at our stands to support the festival. There will be also food stands offering different types of delicious meals from vegan to some dishes with meat.
• At the entrance you have to pay 5 EUR as deposit. Therefore you will get a bag where you can collect your garbage during the festival. By leaving the area give it back filled at the entrance and you will get back your deposit. For glasses and leftovers there are extra bins at the entry. Please use them!
